# Tool to track brand mentions in AI answers in Spanish

PolarJay checks, in Spanish and in English, whether AI assistants name your company: it asks them, in your customers' language, what a buyer would ask without giving your name, and records whether they name you, in which position and what they say about you.

## Why measure in Spanish instead of translating English questions?

Because an AI does not give the same answer in every language: it searches pages in that language and ends up naming other companies. If your customers ask in Spanish, what it says in English does not tell you whether it recommends you.

We saw it in our measurement on 23 October 2026, with the same 26 category questions in both languages. Claude named HubSpot AEO Grader in 13 of 26 answers in Spanish; in English, it was not among its five most named tools. On ChatGPT, OtterlyAI was the most named in both languages (7 of 26 in Spanish and 7 of 26 in English), but the rest of its list changed.

Translating word for word does not work either. A translated question is not the one your customer types: the category words, the country, the currency and the competitors they know all change. Write the questions in Spanish from the start, the way someone buying in Spain or Latin America would.

## How do you measure in Spanish whether an AI names your brand?

With buyer questions written in Spanish, without your name, with web search on, and repeated. Step by step:

1. Write the questions the way your customers write them, in Spanish: «qué herramienta mide si las IAs nombran mi marca» (which tool tracks whether AI assistants name my brand), «empresas de reformas de hoteles en Madrid» (hotel refurbishment companies in Madrid).
2. Leave your name out. If the question includes it, the AI nearly always names you, and that does not tell you whether it would recommend you to someone who does not know you.
3. Turn web search on. That is how someone looking for a supplier asks, and it changes the answer a lot.
4. Write down, for each answer, whom it names, in which position and which pages it cites.
5. Keep the figures separate by AI and by language. Adding Spanish and English together hides exactly what you want to see.
6. Ask the same questions again another day. Answers change from one week to the next.

How many questions you need and how to count share of voice are in the [guide to measuring AI visibility](https://polarjay.com/en/guides/measure-ai-visibility).

## Which tools do ChatGPT and Claude name when asked in Spanish?

On 23 October 2026 we asked them, with web search: «Herramienta para medir menciones de marca en IA en español» (“Tool to track brand mentions in AI answers in Spanish”). ChatGPT named Ahrefs AI Visibility Checker, AuraMetrics and OtterlyAI, citing 4 pages from otterly.ai, help.otterly.ai, aurametrics.io and ahrefs.com. Claude named GEO Metrics, HubSpot AEO, LLM Pulse, Otterly.ai and Profound; it cited no page, but read 9 in its search, among them cyberclick.es, blog.hubspot.es, producthackers.com, javadex.es and tooldata.io. Neither named PolarJay.

Across the 26 category questions in Spanish, ChatGPT mostly named OtterlyAI (7 answers) and Claude HubSpot AEO Grader (13). The full tables, with the sources they read, are in the [study](https://polarjay.com/en/research/ai-visibility-tools-ai-assistants-recommend).

The useful part for you is the source. If an AI names a competitor because it cites a Spanish page that compares it with others, that is the page you need to be on.

## Is there a GEO tool made in Spain?

Yes. PolarJay is an AI visibility (GEO) tool made in Spain by POLARGATE S.L., a company based in Madrid. It measures in Spanish and English.

Asked that question in Spanish («¿Hay una herramienta de GEO hecha en España?») on 23 October 2026, ChatGPT named GenScore, citing one page from genscore.es. Claude named Hostino and Javadex; it cited no page, but read 18 in its search, among them javadex.es, hostino.es, lafabriquedunet.es, midatel.com and yagcomunicacion.com.

## What does PolarJay do when it measures in Spanish?

- It asks AI assistants your buyers' questions in Spanish and in English, without your name.
- It records, for each answer, whether it names you, in which position and what it says about you.
- It asks the same questions every week and lets you know when something changes.
- After each measurement, it gives fix instructions to paste into the AI you work with: which page to change and what to add.

The Start plan costs $49 a month excluding tax, with 1 brand and 50 questions. The [trial](https://polarjay.com/en/trial) lasts 7 days, no card, with 25 questions. The details are on the [pricing page](https://polarjay.com/en/pricing).

If you first want to see whether an AI can read your website, run the [free scanner](https://polarjay.com/en/scan), which runs 12 checks on whether an AI can read your home page and asks ChatGPT, with web search, 3 buyer questions. It is free and needs no sign-up.

Our own measurement, the one in the study, currently asks ChatGPT and Claude with web search, in Spanish and English. We publish how often PolarJay comes up: in none of the 104 category answers on 23 October 2026.
